Introduction

Ziva is an AI assistant inside the Godot editor. Describe the game you want to make, and Ziva can create scenes, write code, fix errors and help you test it. You do not need to know how to code to get started.

Getting Started

  1. Install Ziva in your Godot project.
  2. Open the Ziva panel and sign in.
  3. Ask for one small part of your game:

Make a simple 2D game where I move a character left and right and collect coins. Start with the character and movement. Explain how I can try it.

Run the game, see what works, and ask for the next change. Small requests make it easier to check the result. Use Undo or Retry when you want to go back.

What can I make with Ziva?

Along with building and changing your game, you can ask Ziva to:

Each guide explains its plan requirements and limits. To learn from a ready-made project, try the TileMapLayer example; the download needs no account or Ziva installation.

Start for Free

New accounts start on Hobby, which supports your own Claude Code or Codex subscription and local models for free. Basic includes Ziva-hosted models and images. Sign in to see your current allowances and offers.

If your account shows a 7-day Basic monthly trial, it requires a card and renews at $20/month unless canceled before the trial ends.

Your Code Stays Private

Your project code may be sent to the AI provider you choose. Check the model’s privacy badge before sending sensitive code: retention and training policies vary by model and provider. Generated code and assets belong to you.

Make Ziva work your way

Tell Ziva your preferences, such as “I’m new to Godot, so keep this simple and explain each change.” Use Memories to carry preferences into new chats, or project instructions for rules you want it to follow.

You can also connect an existing AI subscription, use a local model, or explore optional external tools.
