Share web builds
Let friends play your game in their browser. Ziva exports and uploads it, then gives you a play.ziva.sh link after you approve publication.
Free on every plan. You just need to be signed in. The preview is private; Approve and publish makes the game public.
Share your game
- In the chat header, open ⋮ and choose Share Web build.
- Click Open preview to try it. Only you can see the preview.
- Click Review listing and edit your game title, description, and optional cover image.
- Click Review listing inside the editor to prepare the approval preview. Check the listing and its destination, then choose Approve and publish. Copy the public link and share it.
The first share takes a few minutes while Ziva downloads Godot’s web export templates, if needed. Use a title of 1 to 120 characters and a description of up to 2000 characters.
Update or remove it
- Update the game: open Share Web build, click Rebuild, then Review listing. Edit the fields and click Review listing inside the editor, check the approval preview, then choose Approve and publish. Your link stays the same.
- Update the artwork or details: open Share Web build and choose Edit game listing. Edit the fields and click Review listing to prepare the approval preview. Check your changes, then choose Approve update.
- Remove: click Delete. The game and its link are removed.
Update from another computer
On another computer, link your project to its published game before updating it.
- Sign in to the same Ziva account that published the original game.
- Open Share Web build. Ziva exports the game and uploads a private preview. Nothing is published.
- Under the preview, next to Already published from another computer?, click Link existing game.
- Choose your game from the list and click Link game.
- Click Rebuild, then Review listing. Edit the fields and click Review listing inside the editor. Check the approval preview and destination, then choose Approve and publish.
Linking keeps the existing page, link, plays, ratings, and comments. It does not upload, publish, or change the listing; the preview from step 2 stays private.
Publish from chat
Ask Ziva:
Prepare this game for publishing on Ziva Games. Use our existing artwork for a cover, suggest a title and description, and show me the listing before publishing.
Ziva can prepare a private web build and use a cover image from your project. It shows an inline approval card with the cover, title, description, and exact game link. You don’t need to upload the prepared artwork manually.
- Approve and publish makes the game public. For an existing game with a pending rebuild, it replaces the public build and updates its listing.
- Approve update changes an already-public game’s listing without rebuilding the game.
- Request changes leaves the public listing unchanged. In chat, tell Ziva what you want changed; in Share Web build, edit the fields and review again.
- Cancel leaves the public listing unchanged and keeps artwork saved in your project.
Reviews expire after five minutes and can only be submitted once. After changes, review again before approving. Automatic tool approval does not approve a public game listing for you. Listing preparation from chat is available in Ziva chat, not through Ziva’s MCP server.
Artwork for Ziva Games
A cover image is optional. A clean gameplay screenshot or existing game art works well. You only need one landscape cover, not separate thumbnails, banners, or videos.
You can also ask Ziva to generate a cover. Generating new artwork can use paid AI usage; reusing an existing image does not require image generation.
To upload a cover yourself, open Share Web build, choose Review listing or Edit game listing, and select a Cover image.
Optional cover sizes and image preparation
| Cover image | Specification |
|---|---|
| Recommended dimensions | 1920 x 1080 pixels, landscape 16:9 |
| Accepted formats | PNG, JPEG, WebP |
| Maximum uploaded size | 2 MiB (2,097,152 bytes) |
| Exact dimensions required? | No. 16:9 is recommended because gallery cards use that shape. |
| Used for | Your gallery thumbnail and link-sharing previews |
Ziva checks the selected image and resizes or compresses it to fit the upload limit before showing the approval preview. For very large source images, use a file under 50 MiB. If an image cannot be prepared, choose a smaller PNG or JPEG.
Keep the main subject and any title away from the edges, since previews may crop the image. Use little text and make it readable at thumbnail size.
Your game’s page
Players can rate your game, comment, and share it to X, Reddit, Facebook, or WhatsApp.

Published games are listed at play.ziva.sh and announced in #show-my-work on the Ziva Discord.
Limits and privacy
- Up to 300 MB per build.
- Published games are public. Previews are private.
- Sharing uploads the exported game and any approved listing cover, never your project source files or chats.
- Listing details and separate cover uploads wait for approval. Creating a web build uploads a private game preview, including artwork packaged as game assets. Approving publication makes that build public.
Troubleshooting
- My game is not in the list: sign in to the account that published it. Only published games appear; a game that was only ever previewed has no page to keep.
- The update destination no longer exists: reopen Share Web build to create a new private preview. Link another of your games or review and approve it as a new game.
- Build too large: compress textures and audio, or remove unused assets.
- “Runs single-threaded”: a GDExtension doesn’t support web multithreading, so the game may run slower. Updating it may help.
- Game won’t start: some plugins have no web version, and Godot can’t export C# projects to the web yet. Ask Ziva to help.
- Interrupted upload: in Share Web build, retry or rebuild before reviewing the listing. Your existing public game stays available.
- Share failed: read the error, fix it, and click Retry.
- Cover preview won’t load: choose Request changes and select another image. Don’t approve artwork you cannot preview.
- Listing changed or review expired: review the title, description, cover, and game link again. The old approval cannot apply to a different build or listing.
- Listing submission failed: check the game page to see whether the update completed, then review again before retrying. Your local artwork is retained.
