Claude Haiku 5.5

Claude Haiku 5.5 is a fast model for small changes, targeted fixes and explanations. Try: “Explain how my player jumps in plain language, without changing anything.” For larger changes across several game systems, consider Sonnet or Opus instead. See Anthropic’s official announcement  for more about the model.

Choose Haiku in Ziva

Open the model picker, select Advanced, then choose Claude Haiku 5.5. Check the selected usage connection before sending: hosted requests use your Ziva allowance; a connected Claude Code subscription uses that subscription instead.

Use your Claude Code subscription

Connect Claude Code in Settings > Models & Providers > Use Existing Subscriptions. Select Claude Haiku 5.5, open its model settings, and choose Claude Code under Usage.

This works on every signed-in Ziva plan, including Hobby. Requests use your Claude subscription’s allowance rather than Ziva usage, and go to Anthropic under your account’s privacy settings. Anthropic controls your subscription limits and model access.

If the Claude Code option is missing, restart your editor to refresh the model list. If it asks you to connect, complete the provider sign-in flow in Settings.

Adjust reasoning effort

Choose a reasoning level from Low through Max; the default is High. This controls how much thinking the model does before answering.

Use lower effort for straightforward requests, or increase it for harder tasks. Higher effort can take longer and cost more; it does not make Haiku a substitute for a larger model on every task.

Continuing a Haiku 4.5 chat

Haiku 4.5 is retired in Ziva. Choose Claude Haiku 5.5 in the model picker before continuing a chat that used it.
